Governor S. Abdul Nazeer visited the sacred hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara Swamy on Thursday and offered prayers to the presiding deity. On his arrival at the main temple, Mr. Nazeer was accorded a traditional reception by TTD Executive Officer M.
Ravichandra, Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary and CVSO Muralikrishna. The temple priests and authorities extended him the traditional temple courtesies and led into the
sanctum sanctorum. After darshan, Vedic scholars rendered ‘Vedasirvachanams’ on him, while top officials presented him the sacred ‘theertha prasadam’ and a portrait of the deity.
Among those present were Deputy Executive Officers Lokanatham and Bhaskar, Vigilance and Security Officers Surendra and Giridhar, along with other senior officials.
