As many as 29 passengers who were injured in a bus accident near Aurangabad in Bihar safely reached Nellore on Thursday morning. After the bus arrived at Medicover Hospital on the highway, the local officials transferred the passengers to specially arranged RTC buses to take them to their native places, including Sangam, Atmakur, Rampalli, and Duttalur.
Addressing the media, Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy said, โThe State government has made special arrangements for transporting the pilgrims who were injured in the bus accident while travelling to Varanasi. The government officials and public representatives have taken coordinated efforts to send them back to their respective villages.โ The officials stated that all necessary measures have been completed to safely transport the passengers from other regions back to their home towns.
The Minister assured that the government stands firmly with the accident victims and is committed to providing necessary medical care and assistance. The injured passengers
stated that they survived the ordeal because the government responded immediately by providing medical aid and transportation facilities.
