A gym operator was shot dead after motorcycle-borne attackers opened fire on him near Fawwara Chowk in Haryana's Hansi on Thursday morning. The incident took place at around 5:30 am when the assailants fired 10 rounds at the gym operator within five seconds. The attackers shot him at close range in the back and head, killing him on the spot.
Read Full Story At the time of the attack, the gym operator was conducting exercise sessions for boys and girls on a ramp outside shops near Fawwara Chowk. The attackers arrived on a motorcycle wearing helmets and fled the scene immediately after carrying out the shooting. During the firing, a young woman identified as Shikha, who was warming up nearby, suffered injuries after being hit by bullet fragments.
She was admitted to a private hospital in Hisar for treatment. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the shooting and sealed the area before launching an investigation. Considering the seriousness of the case, teams from the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) and the forensic department were also called to the scene to assist in the probe.
