Minister for Housing and Urban Development B. Rajkumar inspected the infrastructure facilities at the Anna bus terminus in Cuddalore on Tuesday. Accompanied by Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar, the Minister inspected the entry and exit gates, various amenities for passengers, including public toilets, drinking water facilities, bus bays and commercial complex on the premises.
Rajkumar directed officials to identify encroachments and unused spaces to facilitate free movement of mofussil and local buses. He also inspected the pay-and-use toilets and
said that only government-mandated rates should be collected from commuters. He also instructed officials to launch flood-mitigation measures in the bus terminus and complete the
work before the onset of the monsoon.
