The latest processor features a faster 10-core CPU and a next-generation GPU, with each GPU core equipped with a Neural Accelerator to handle demanding AI workloads more efficiently. Apple claims the M5-powered MacBook Air delivers up to four times better AI performance compared to the M4 model and is up to 9.5 times faster than the M1 MacBook Air in certain tasks.
