Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially become India's longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister, completing 4,399 days in office and surpassing the record previously held by the nation's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The milestone coincides with the completion of 12 years of the Modi government. Across the country, Union ministers and Bharatiya Janata Party supporters marked the occasion by visiting temples and offering prayers for the Prime Minister's long life and the vision of a developed India.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh praised the Prime Minister, referring to him as 'Mahamanav' and 'Atimanav', stating that an ordinary man cannot work so hard day and night. To commemorate the historic achievement, a series of high-level meetings are scheduled. A Cabinet meeting is set to move a resolution congratulating Prime Minister Modi. Following this, top leaders and Chief Ministers of Democratic Alliance-ruled states will convene at Bharat Mandapam at 3:00 PM to bring forward a similar resolution, celebrating the Prime Minister's unprecedented tenure and the government's 12-year milestone.
