Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh on Tuesday carried out an on-site inspection of the ongoing road development and flyover construction works at IIIT junction in Gachibowli, reviewing the progress of key infrastructure upgrades along the Gachibowli–DLF corridor. During the inspection, the Commissioner assessed the status of the flyover and road widening works stretching from Gachibowli Police Station to DLF junction.
He was accompanied by Serilingampally Assistant Deputy Commissioner of Police Hanumantha Rao and officials from the Civic Maintenance Cell. Officials briefed him on the progress of the works, following which the official instructed them to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe. He also reviewed steps being taken to reduce inconvenience to the public during the construction phase, with a focus on smoother traffic movement and the creation of alternative routes.
The Commissioner directed that a special traffic advisory be issued for the next three months in view of the ongoing works, and asked officials to put in place effective diversion plans wherever required. He urged motorists to cooperate with traffic police personnel and follow diversion guidelines to avoid congestion. He further noted that once the flyover and road widening works are completed, traffic flow along the Gachibowli–DLF stretch is expected to improve significantly, bringing long-term relief to commuters in the area.
