Monsoon’s Arrival In Delhi According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the southwest monsoon is expected to make landfall in the national capital between June 25 and 30, with neighbouring cities like Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad expected to receive the showers within the same window. The monsoon reached Kerala on June 4, three days later than its usual arrival on June 1. The weather body had said the delay in monsoon was driven by a developing El Nino pattern in the Pacific Ocean.
