Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Radaptive Inc., California, U.S., with the objective of creating skill-based employability opportunities for students. The MoU was formally signed in Bengaluru on Tuesday by Naveen Joseph A., registrar, on behalf of the university, and Sudha Dev, vice president, on behalf of Radaptive Inc.
Vice-Chancellor B. Ramesh exchanged the MoU documents with the representative of the U.S.-based organisation. He explained that the initiative aims to provide technology-oriented skill training to students of the social sciences, thereby enhancing their employability and professional competencies. Speaking on the occasion, Sudha Dev, emphasized the importance of skill development among students.
She also proposed providing appropriate guidance and capacity-building support to faculty members, along with curriculum revisions aligned with contemporary industry requirements. The MoU further seeks to
integrate Social Work education with technology, digital tools, and artificial intelligence, with the broader objective of strengthening community engagement and inclusivity while creating meaningful social impact.
