Naidu to attend NDA, NITI Aayog meetings in New Delhi

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will undertake a two-day visit to New Delhi from June 10 to participate in key meetings of the Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Governing Council of NITI Aayog. According to officials, Mr. Naidu will leave Gannavaram Airport at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday and arrive in the national capital to attend a meeting of NDA partners at Bharat Mandapam.
Scheduled from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., the meeting is expected to focus on coordination among alliance partners and deliberations on key national and developmental issues. On June 11, the Chief Minister will participate in the 11th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The day-long meeting, to be attended by Chief Ministers, Lieutenant Governors and senior officials from across the country, is expected to deliberate on economic growth, infrastructure development, cooperative federalism and governance reforms.
Naidu’s participation assumes significance as Andhra Pradesh pursues major development initiatives, including infrastructure expansion, industrial investment and the development of Amaravati as the State capital. The meeting is expected to provide a platform for States
to present their priorities and seek support for ongoing development programmes. After the conclusion of the NITI Aayog meeting, Mr. Naidu is scheduled to return to Amaravati on Thursday night, arriving at around 9 p.m.
