The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached immovable assets currently worth about ₹100 crore in a case allegedly involving Jaypee Infratech Limited (JIL), Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL), and related entities. The properties belong to JC World Hospitality Private Limited, and Investors Clinic Infratech Private Limited, the agency said on Tuesday (June 9, 2026). The ED’s probe against the Jaypee Group is based on multiple cases registered by the Economic Offences Wings of the Delhi Police and the Uttar Pradesh Police, alleging that homebuyers in the Jaypee Wishtown and Jaypee Greens projects had been cheated.
About ₹32,825 crore was collected by JIL and JAL from homebuyers, in accordance with the claims admitted by Company Law Tribunal, of which substantial amounts had been diverted and siphoned off to related entities, including JC World Hospitality, the ED said. The proceeds were also parked in Investors Clinic Infratech in the form of land, it is alleged.
The agency has alleged that Manoj Gaur, the then managing director of JIL and JAL, played a central role in the planning and execution of the diversion of funds through a complex web of
transactions. Gaur was arrested on November 13, 2025, and is currently in judicial custody. In January, the ED had provisionally attached assets valued at about ₹400 crore, and filed a prosecution complaint against Mr. Gaur.
