Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in New Delhi, concluding his five-nation tour that included visits to the UAE, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. During the tour, India signed agreements across the trade, defence, and energy sectors, and held discussions on the IMEC corridor and the West Asia war situation. The Prime Minister also shared a compilation of visuals on X, thanking Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for hosting him.
Following his return, PM Modi is scheduled to chair a cabinet meeting at 4 PM today. All ministers and ministers of state with independent charge have been instructed to attend. The meeting follows a recent fuel price hike and the 'seven save up mantras' issued by the Prime Minister before his departure. The diplomatic tour took place amid other geopolitical developments, including visits by Donald Trump to Beijing and Russian President Vladimir Putin to China.
