The Trinamool Congress faces developments as rebel members of parliament meet with the West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. A rebel member of parliament attended an administrative meeting chaired by the Chief Minister in Kolaghat, East Midnapore district. Another member of parliament from the party also attended the meeting.
Both representatives were present at a meeting in New Delhi at a residence, which was also attended by the Chief Minister. Some members of parliament are now demanding a merger with the Democratic Alliance, while others challenge the rebels to resign from the party.
