US President Donald Trump says Washington is in the final stages of negotiating an agreement with Iran and believes a deal could be signed within days. Trump told reporters that the accord would prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and lead to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz immediately after signing.
He said both Iran and Israel had agreed to halt further escalation following recent exchanges of attacks and claimed he had urged all sides to end the confrontation as quickly as possible. Trump argued that a negotiated settlement would be stronger than further military action, warning that additional bombing would cause significant loss of life and delay the reopening of key shipping routes.
He also described the blockade imposed during the crisis as more effective than air strikes in pressuring Iran. Trump maintained there were no major obstacles remaining in
the talks and expressed confidence that a “strong and powerful” agreement was close. Find us on Check our website Check out our Instagram page Download AJE Mobile App
