Guidelines issued by the Commission for Protection of Child Rights on standard operating procedures in connection with matters related to children will now be available on the website of the Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights. Child-friendly directives on Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012; Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015; Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009; cyber security, and protection of children living on the streets are included on the website. Those working with children and childcare institutions should follow the guidelines strictly, the commission said in a statement.
