She alleged being ignored by the party, saying she was “simply cast aside." The TMC leader further cited Bengal poll loss as the reason behind her quitting the posts.

“When I was the District Chairperson and the election results showed a poor outcome, I took personal responsibility, thinking perhaps I hadn’t performed my role effectively and stepped down," she said. ‘I Was Cast Aside’ “Even after that, no one met me or even called; I was simply cast aside.
