The Indian Air Force will deploy Mi-17 helicopters to transport question papers for the upcoming NEET re-examination. According to defense sources, the papers will be airlifted to eighteen regional hubs across the country to ensure maximum security. From these hubs, the question papers will be transported to respective examination centers by road under a multi-layered security cover. The Prime Minister is directly monitoring the preparations and security arrangements for the retest.
The Testing Agency is coordinating with multiple agencies, including the Defense Ministry, to ensure a foolproof process after the previous examination, which saw twenty-two lakh students appear, was canceled. Additionally, teachers responsible for setting the new question papers are being kept in isolated zones without any external interaction to prevent early leaks. The deployment of Indian Air Force workhorses like the Mi-17 highlights the strict measures being implemented by the government to conduct a secure and flawless medical entrance examination.
