Minister for Industries and Commerce T.G. Bharath Gupta has been elected as the chairman of the organising committee of the three-day Global Arya Vysya Summit to be conducted in Bengaluru this December. This was announced at an event organized on Sunday (June 07) by the All India Arya Vysya Mahasabha Federation in Bengaluru. Speaking at the event, Mr. Bharath exhorted Arya Vysyas to emerge as entrepreneurs.
He also noted that the spirit of service is inherent among Arya Vysyas. Bharath said it is commendable that an initiative has been taken to organize a summit to attract investments under the aegis of Karnataka Arya Vysya Mahasabha on the lines of the recent partnership summit organised in Andhra Pradesh. He suggested that all Arya Vysya organizations should work together to ensure the success of any initiative and assured them of his full cooperation for any noble cause they might pursue.
The Minister also urged the community members to come forward and invest in Andhra Pradesh. On the occasion, he recalled that a decision was taken in the presence of the community leaders in Hyderabad that all Arya Vysyas should adopt Gupta
as a suffix to their names. The event was attended by several Arya Vysya leaders, including AP Arya Vysya Mahasabha president Illuru Lakshmaiah, Kerala general secretary Rajendran, Puducherry State general secretary Pradhaban, Tamil Nadu Women’s Wing president Lavanya, and several others.
