The Trinamool Congress appears to be facing one of its biggest internal crises yet, with signs of rebellion now reaching Parliament. In a dramatic development, senior leader Sukhendu Sekhar Roy resigned from the Rajya Sabha and the party before being seen at a meeting with senior BJP leaders, including former Bengal election in-charge Bhupender Yadav. West Bengal BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari was also present during the discussions.
The developments come at a politically sensitive moment, with Mamata Banerjee in Delhi attending the INDIA bloc meeting alongside opposition leaders.
