Phone Number Used For Pizza Order Under Investigation The fatal shooting took place shortly after midnight on June 5 at the Raymond Rosen Homes housing complex in North Philadelphia. According to Philadelphia Police, Kuncha had completed a delivery of three pizzas to an apartment unit that was later found to be vacant. Investigators recovered the untouched pizza boxes and delivery bag inside the apartment, raising suspicions that the order may have been placed to draw him to the area. Police have identified the pizza outlet involved and obtained the phone number used to place the order. Investigators are examining whether the caller had any connection to the killing. Chief Inspector Scott Small told NBC Philadelphia that authorities are working with the pizza shop as part of the investigation. What Surveillance Footage Revealed Surveillance cameras in the housing complex captured Kuncha carrying the delivery order shortly before the shooting. The footage reportedly shows two individuals dressed in dark clothing following him as he walked toward the apartment. While the shooting itself was not recorded, investigators believe the video could help identify those involved.
Police also recovered shell casings near the spot where Kuncha was found with a gunshot wound to the head. No arrests have been made so far. Family Awaits Repatriation Back home in Telangana, Kuncha’s family has been seeking assistance to bring his mortal remains back to India. His sister Tanvi Kuncha said the family believes he was targeted through a fake delivery request. She also appealed for support in expediting the repatriation process. The family has approached Indian authorities and submitted requests through consular channels for assistance.
