While Mamata has moved closer to this alliance, four major and significant parties have stepped back. The DMK, currently in power in Tamil Nadu, has distanced itself from this meeting.
पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी जो पिछले दो साल से इंडिया ब्लॉक की हर बैठक से कतरा रही थी वो खुद कोलकाता से उड़ान भरकर दिल्ली पहुंच चुकी हैं। बेशक ममता ने इस गठबंधन की तरफ अपने कदम बढ़ाए लेकिन दूसरी तरफ से चार बड़ी और अहम पार्टियों ने अपने कदम पीछे खींच लिए। तमिलनाडु की सत्ता पर काबिज डीएमकी ने इस बैठक से दूरी बना ली।
