The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast in 25 Telangana districts for Friday, September 18. According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar districts.
Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Light rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds
are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34℃
and 26℃ respectively,” the bulletin said.
