Yoga is an elixir that could help achieve balance, peace of mind, and self-confidence, said TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra. In his inaugural address at the ‘Yoga – TTD Arogyananda’ programme organised at Mahati auditorium on Sunday (June 7, 2026) as part of the preparations for the ‘International Yoga Day’ on June 21, he encouraged all the employees to participate in the daily yoga sessions from June 7 to 21, insisting on regular practice to ensure physical as well as mental well-being.
Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary and Joint EO A. Sarath called yoga as the gateway to stress management and also to unleash the inner strength. TTD employees, students from its educational institutions, ‘Srivari Sevaks’ (volunteers) participated in the yoga sessions.
A special audio-visual presentation and demonstration on Surya Namaskar was conducted. A similar programme was conducted at the Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park (SVZP) under the
guidance of Joint Collector R. Govinda Rao, in which more than 2,500 people participated.
