Rodriguez visited Prasanthi Nilayam and offered her respects at the shrine of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Venezuela’s Acting President Delcy Rodriguez visited Prasanthi Nilayam in Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Sathya Sai district on Saturday and offered prayers at the Mahasamadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. She arrived at the Sri Sathya Sai Airport, where she was received by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust Managing Trustee RJ Rathnakar, Trust member Manohar Shetty and other officials. She then proceeded to the spiritual centre at Puttaparthi. According to a press release issued by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Rodriguez visited Prasanthi Nilayam and offered her respects at the shrine of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
She later spent time at Sai Kulwant Hall, where she paid obeisance at Bhagawan’s Sannidhi. On earlier visits, Rodriguez has spent time at Sai Kulwant Hall and the Mahasamadhi, where she participated in prayerful reflection. She has described the environment at Prasanthi Nilayam as deeply peaceful, offering her a rare sense of quiet amid her demanding political responsibilities. Trust officials have also documented her visits and engagements within the ashram premises. In a past interaction, she is reported to have spoken about feeling spiritually supported during difficult moments, saying that she sensed Baba’s presence guiding her and her family.
