Domestic LPG prices have been raised by ₹29 per cylinder for the second time in three months, with rates increasing across major cities as fuel retailers grapple with rising global energy costs. Domestic LPG prices hiked by ₹29 per cylinder again; check latest city-wise rates The price of domestic cooking gas has been increased by Rs 29 per cylinder, marking the second hike in three months as state-owned fuel retailers continue to face pressure from elevated global energy prices.
With effect from June 7, the price of a 14.2-kg LPG cylinder in Delhi has risen to Rs 942 from Rs 913, according to industry sources. The latest increase follows a Rs 60-per-cylinder hike announced on March 7 after disruptions in global energy supplies linked to the conflict in West Asia pushed up international fuel prices.
Industry sources said the earlier revision only partly offset losses on domestic LPG sales. Before the latest hike, state-run oil marketing companies were estimated to be losing around Rs 703 on every LPG cylinder sold. Check city wise rates here City Today's price New
