Senate candidate Graham Platner spoke out at a rally Friday days after a New York Times report published this week included accounts from several women who dated the Maine Democrat, accusing him of "unsettling" behavior. "When hurtful things I said on the internet a decade ago came out into the public as I shared my personal journey through PTSD and darkness of recovery and accountability and growth, Maine had my back," Platner said while addressing supporters in Bar Harbor.
“Now, as every single piece of that past and journey gets dug up, litigated, and weaponized, you have my back.” Earlier this week, Platner told MSNOW that the accusations are "serious," but "false." Maine's primary is set for Tuesday, June 9th.
