Student from Dharwad secures second rank in CET (Agriculture stream)
Anmol Prabhu, a student of Arjun PU College in Dharwad, has secured the second rank in the Agriculture stream in the Common Entrance Test (CET)
Anmol Prabhu, a student of Arjun PU College in Dharwad, has secured the second rank in the Agriculture stream in the Common Entrance Test (CET), the results of which were announced by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on Saturday.
Along with second rank in Agriculture, Prabhu has secured 10th rank in Veterinary Science, eighth rank in Nursing and ninth rank in Yoga and Naturopathy. Being the son of noted doctor-couple, Avinash Prabhu and Mrudula Prabhu of Dharwad, Prabhu has set his eyes on medical profession.
He is now preparing for the Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), which is being conducted again after the earlier one was cancelled owing to irregularities. Prabhu told
presspersons that while he was happy with the CET results, his primary goal was to become a doctor and is now focussing on the NEET preparations.
