Among those in the crorepathi club who filed their nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha and Legislative Council polls from the Congress, P.V. Mohan, the Congress candidate in the Legislative Council election, has declared assets worth ₹74.5 lakh, including moveable assets of ₹14.5 lakh. He has declared liabilities of ₹13 lakh.
Another Congress candidate, Tippanna Kamaknoor, has declared assets worth ₹1.11 crore, including moveable assets worth ₹36.06 lakh, and liabilities worth ₹19.75 lakh. Pawan Khera and Mansoor Ali Khan, Congress candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections, filed their nomination papers on June 6. AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge filed his nomination paper on June 5.
KPCC president B.K. Hariprasad and Shivanna Malavalli filed their nomination papers for the Legislative Council polls. Khan has declared total assets worth ₹49.63 crore, including moveable properties worth ₹24.4 crore, and liabilities worth ₹7.98 crore. Khera has declared assets worth ₹54.46 crore, including moveable assets worth ₹20.31 crore, and liabilities worth ₹8.88 crore.
Among those who filed nomination papers for the Legislative Council polls, Mr. Hariprasad has declared assets worth ₹16.12 crore, including ₹78.31 lakh moveable assets, and liabilities worth ₹90 lakh. Mr. Shivanna has declared assets worth ₹4.84 crore and his income tax liabilities are worth ₹13.81 crore.
