106 Maharashtra pilgrims stranded in Nepal following devastating floods have been safely brought to Sitamarhi, Bihar, through coordinated rescue operations. The Bihar government arranged food, shelter, and medical care for the pilgrims, who expressed deep gratitude to the officials. The pilgrims had visited the Muktinath and Pashupatinath temples before getting stuck due to rain-damaged roads. Meanwhile, over 300 Indians remain untraceable in Nepal after floodwaters washed away infrastructure, including an immigration centre on the China border.
Additionally, around 400 Indians remain stranded in Tibet, while 149 have safely crossed into Nepal. India has intensified relief efforts, dispatching its third flight carrying humanitarian aid, taking total supplies to over 47 tons, along with medical teams and paramedics to assist in rescue operations.
