He highlighted how India has strengthened its energy security over the past 12 years through diversification of oil and gas supplies, expansion of renewable energy, growth in ethanol blending, railway electrification, nuclear energy development, and modernization of transmission infrastructure.
PM Modi noted that India has emerged as one of the world's top five solar energy producers, reflecting the country's rapid transition toward clean and sustainable energy. He also pointed to major investments in gas pipeline networks, petroleum storage capacity, and port infrastructure aimed at securing India's long-term energy needs.
