UGC NET June Papers Re-Exam In September After NTA Finds Errors & Repeated Questions
The Testing Agency (NTA) has ordered a re-examination for the UGC NET June papers in English, Commerce, and Sociology following the discovery of significant errors
The Testing Agency (NTA) has ordered a re-examination for the UGC NET June papers in English, Commerce, and Sociology following the discovery of significant errors and widespread question repetition. A committee found around 67 out of 150 questions repeated in the English paper from 2024, alongside 80 repeated questions in Commerce, while Sociology contained conceptual, grammatical, spelling, and translation errors.
The re-examinations for English and Commerce are scheduled for September 9, with Sociology set for September 10. The development has triggered political reactions from opposition leaders and student organisations, including the Students Union of India and Students' Federation of India, who have called for protests outside the NTA office.
