A C-Voter survey throws up a fascinating contradiction in Gen-Z's political behaviour: while 49.3% say social media shapes their political opinion, 75% say they trust their parents most on matters affecting their lives, compared with just 6.8% who trust influencers. The panel debates what this means for India's political future, from the influence of social media and religion to youth participation in protests and politics.
The survey also finds 29% say abusive language against public figures is probably not acceptable, while 21% call it completely unacceptable.
