Gen Z are driving a boom in antiques and collectibles with over 60% in a recent survey claiming they’re a fan of second-hand fashion, homeware and furniture. Around a third of the 18- to 29-year-olds polled said they went thrift shopping every week as young people become more drawn to sustainable goods as they feel it adds more character to their wardrobes and homes. We would like people aged 18-29 to show us their most extraordinary thrifted piece. Have you picked up a bargain at an antiques fair or second hand market? How much did you pay and why do you love it? Please tell us why you love thrifting instead of buying new items.
