मध्य प्रदेश के छतरपुर- पन्ना की महत्वाकांक्षी विद्युत और रिवर इंटरलिंकिंग परियोजना केन बेतवा लिंक प्रोजेक्ट की वजह 25 ज़्यादा गांवों के और 10, हज़ार के क़रीब लोगों को हटाया जा रहा है इस इलाक़े के लोगों का एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल दिल्ली में लीडर ऑफ़ अपोज़िशन राहुल गांधी से आकर मिले. इन लोगों ने सरकार द्वारा की जा रही जाति को लेकर विपक्ष के प्रतिपक्ष के नेता से शिकायत की जिस पर राहुल गांधी ने उन्हें जल्द ही छतरपुर इलाक़े में आकर उनके हालात को देखने की बात कही है.
More than 25 villages and approximately 10,000 people are being displaced due to the Ken-Betwa Link Project—an ambitious power and river-interlinking initiative spanning the Chhatarpur and Panna districts of Madhya Pradesh. A delegation representing the local residents met with the Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, in Delhi.
