A horrifying CCTV video from Patiala has sparked outrage over pet safety and the responsibility of dog owners after a couple visiting a house for rent was allegedly attacked by a pitbull that ran out of the property.
The incident took place in Ghuman Nagar when Ankit Sabharwal, his wife Shifali and a property dealer arrived to inspect a house. According to the couple, the moment the gate was opened, the dog rushed out and attacked Shifali, biting her repeatedly.
She suffered severe injuries to her arm and other parts of her body and reportedly had to undergo surgery. Ankit was also injured while trying to pull the dog away from his wife.
