The Public Transport Fare Regulatory Committee (PTFRC), headed by Atul Kumar Tiwari, inspected the headquarters, bus depots and bus station of the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) in Kalaburagi on Thursday. The committee, comprising Mr. Tiwari, retired government secretary and member Dwarakanath Babu, and Abdul Pinjari, visited the KKRTC headquarters, Kalaburagi depots 1, 2 and 4, the Central Bus Station, and the divisional workshop.

At the KKRTC headquarters, the committee held a meeting with senior officials and obtained detailed information on the corporation’s operations, the Shakti scheme, and its financial position. The members later inspected bus maintenance and cleanliness at various depots and reviewed the use of DCS software and Smart ETMs.
