A political party has launched the 'School Theek Karo' campaign aimed at improving rural government school infrastructure. The initiative encourages citizens, parents, and youth to inspect rural schools and document issues related to four non-negotiables: electricity, drinking water, functional washrooms, and safe midday meals. Under the Sarpanch challenge, citizens audit and flag gaps during a 15-day window, followed by 15 days of tracking whether repairs are completed by local authorities.
The initial target is auditing 100 schools within two months, with plans to scale the model to thousands of villages. The campaign emphasizes empowering rural students to prepare for competitive examinations like NEET and JEE with confidence by securing better educational facilities in government schools.
