Marco Rubio shared his keto experience on Katie Miller podcast as his wife revealed that he loves to eat junk food, ice cream. No āsingle typical dayā at the State Department Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he once tried a keto diet four to five years ago and it was a near-psychotic experience for him without any sugar and carbohydrates. In an interview with Katie Miller, Rubio's wife spilled his love for sugar and divulged his diet while Rubio shared his experience with extreme diets. "And you just eat all this protein, and so you go through this massive withdrawal from sugar and carbohydrates for the first 72 hours. It was a near-psychotic event for me," Rubio said. His wife Jeanette agreed."Like, if I did this in this job, I would be, 'Mr President, we must bomb Paraguay'," Rubio said.
And when Trump would ask him the reason, he would say: "I donāt know, Iām just really mad; I havenāt had any sugar.ā"So the point is that you canāt ā it really is not as ā Iām not against this diet. Iām not asking that we ban it. I encourage people to try it. Iām just saying itās not for everyone. Thatās what Iām saying," Rubio said.Katie Miller asked Rubio whether he adopted health secretary RFK Jr's diet of red meat and fermented vegetables. "No. No, this is a crazy diet. This is a ā this is a diet that consists of eating sauerkraut and meat. Now, you understand, like, this is not a sustainable thing," Rubio said."But he has to travel with coolers of sauerkraut," Rubio said, pointing out the difficulties of sustaining such a diet.Sauerkraut is finely cut raw white cabbage that has been fermented by various lactic acid bacteria.
Miller asked Rubio whether he is for MAHA (Make America Healthy Again). "Iām in favor of MAHA. Like, I think people should be healthy," he said.Jeanette Rubio contradicted and said that Rubio does not eat healthy at all and he is fond of Pop-Tarts, sweets and all fast food.Rubio said sometimes heāll wake up at 2.30 am to respond to a global crisis but some days are pretty straightforward in his commute from home to the State Department.āAlthough weāve been pretty busy on the national security front because of Iran and before that other things, but thereās no single typical day. Typically weekends are just a little slower, obviously but ā and then the president has an insane work schedule. Like, he works every day, all day. You guys know that, too. So he doesnāt really have, like, days off or vacation time.
