The Parliament deadlock continues as the Opposition stages protests and raises slogans, while the Centre maintains that it is ready for a detailed debate on the NEET issue. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has accused the Opposition of "running away" from a discussion, alleging that it "lacks the courage" to participate in an open debate. Rijiju said the government is ready for an "open, extensive and detailed discussion" and revealed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has written to the Lok Sabha Speaker, urging him to persuade Opposition leaders to agree to the debate.
