Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have issued a deadline of 10 PM Thursday to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's government, demanding permission to meet former Prime Minister Imran Khan at Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail or warning of nationwide protests. The demand follows heightened concerns regarding his health and circulating rumors in Islamabad and Rawalpindi questioning if he is still alive. Journalist Wajahat Saeed Khan reported claims that military officials indicated Khan may no longer be alive, though noting the claims remain unverified.
PTI leaders, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and Salman Akram Raja, along with Khan's family, are demanding proof of life and immediate access for his family and personal doctors.
