The Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam has announced special Kumkumarchana rituals at the Kanaka Durga Temple atop Indrakeeladri here during the auspicious Sravana Masam. Temple Executive Officer V.K. Seena Naik said on Wednesday that the special Arjitha Seva would be conducted from August 13 to September 11, covering the entire Sravana month.
The rituals will be performed at the temple’s Puja Mandapam every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ticket for the special Kumkumarchana has been fixed at ₹1,000, with each ticket allowing two devotees, either a couple or any two devotees, to participate in the ritual.
Tickets can be booked both online and offline. Devotees can book tickets from their homes through the Andhra Pradesh government’s official ‘Mana Mitra’ WhatsApp service at 9552300009. Devotees visiting the temple in person can purchase tickets through the digital ticket-purchasing kiosks installed by the temple authorities and at the Arjitha Seva counters.
Seena Naik said performing Kumkumarchana to Goddess Kanaka Durga during Sravana Masam was considered highly auspicious and appealed to devotees to make use of the special seva and seek the blessings of the Goddess.
