A noted Pakistani journalist has claimed that three senior officers at Pakistanâs General Headquarters (GHQ) expressed fears that jailed former prime minister Imran Khan may no longer be alive, while stressing that the claim remains unconfirmed. His remarks came amid growing concerns over Imranâs health and demands from his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party for access to his family and doctors."Three GHQ officers expressed in different ways that Imran Khan is no longer with us and that is the reason why the Pakistan army and the army chief are keeping him from the rest of the country.

to meet him.âWe have been assured that all the cases will be fixed for hearing next week and the cause list will be issued,â Pakistani news outlet Dawn quoted Raja saying after he met the registrar.Imran Khan, 73, has been incarcerated since August 5, 2023, when he was arrested following his conviction in the Toshakhana case. He remains in prison in Pakistan, facing multiple convictions and pending cases.
