A passenger travelling from Delhi to Hyderabad was stopped at Indira Gandhi International Airport after CISF personnel detected a skull concealed inside his hand baggage during pre-embarkation security screening.
The unusual discovery was made when alert CISF personnel noticed a suspicious object inside the passenger’s cabin baggage and subjected it to further scrutiny. Upon being questioned, the passenger claimed that the object was a monkey’s skull, according to officials. The nature of the item prompted security personnel to alert the authorities, given its suspected connection to wildlife. The incident occurred during the airport’s pre-embarkation security check, where passengers and their cabin baggage are screened before they enter the secure boarding area.
