A native of Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district has lost his life in an alleged Iranian strike at the Kuwait International Airport just hours before he was scheduled to board a flight home, his family members said on Thursday (June 4, 2026) after they received information from government officials.
A resident of Ujjain town, Manzoor Ahmed (55) had been working as a tailor in Kuwait for about 30 years, and was about to travel to his hometown on Wednesday (June 3, 2026) morning for a family wedding, his son Mohammad Anas told reporters.
“He was about to come to India yesterday and had gone to the airport to catch his flight for Mumbai.
He got caught in a drone strike near the terminal 1,” he said.
“His nephew is going to get married soon and he was coming for that,” Mr. Anas added.
