In a intense session of Political Faceoff, Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Majhi engaged in a sharp verbal duel over student agitation and exam irregularities in Jharkhand. Sanjay Seth accused the JMM-led state administration of selling recruitment seats for crores of rupees and executing night-time lathi charges on student protesters in Ranchi, demanding an immediate CBI probe into the scams.
Rebutting the allegations, Mahua Majhi asserted that 98 percent of student demands were conceded by the state government and alleged that BJP workers disguised themselves as students to breach barricades and spark unrest. Majhi defended the ongoing CID and ED investigations monitored by retired judges, while Seth insisted that key scam cases in Jharkhand were being buried under state probes.
