Hundreds of BJP workers participated in the bike rally organised by the district youth wing of the party as part of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, ahead of Independence Day celebrations, on Tuesday.
Shivamogga MLA S.N. Channabasappa and other leaders flagged the rally at Allama Prabhu Park in the city. The workers, many of them with saffron shawls, rode two-wheelers carrying the national tricolour.
They covered prominent streets of the city. Member of Legislative Council Dhananjay Sarji, district BJP president N.K. Jagadish, district youth president Prashanth Kukke and others
led the rally.
