Rapid Read Mehak Ahmed, 19, was found dead inside a PG room in Noida’s Sector 49 area. A 19-year-old woman from Assam, identified as Mehak Ahmed, was allegedly murdered at a paying guest (PG) accommodation in Noida’s Sector 49 area. Her body was found inside a locked room after the landlord alerted police over a foul smell coming from the premises.
Mehak had been staying with a friend in Barola village and had reportedly gone missing following an argument with another PG resident, identified as Raman, on August 8. Body Found Inside Locked Room According to the information available, police were alerted after a foul smell began coming from Raman’s locked room. Officers reached the premises and opened the room, where they found Mehak’s body. Multiple injury marks were found on her body, suggesting that she may have been attacked with a sharp-edged weapon. The circumstances surrounding her death are being investigated, while the exact motive behind the alleged murder has not yet been established. Raman Missing, Three Teams Formed Raman, who reportedly holds a B.Tech degree and had previously worked at an IT company, is currently missing.
Police have launched a search to trace him. An FIR has been registered at Sector 49 police station, and three police teams have been formed to locate Raman and investigate the circumstances surrounding Mehak’s death. CCTV, Call Records Under Scanner Police are examining CCTV footage from the area to establish the sequence of events leading up to the incident. Investigators are also examining forensic evidence collected from the crime scene. Mehak’s mobile phone has been sent for forensic analysis, while police are checking call records, chats and her last contacts for possible leads. Investigators are also questioning other PG residents and witnesses as they work to establish what happened before Mehak went missing.
The motive behind the alleged murder is yet to be ascertained, and the investigation is underway.
