Food safety officials in Karnataka have flagged unhygienic conditions at a Zepto dark store warehouse located in Hoskote, Bengaluru Rural. The action follows recent raids conducted by the health department across various cloud kitchens, hotels, and delivery dark stores in the region. During the inspection, officials discovered unhygienic floor conditions, open packets of chips, biscuits, and sunflower oil, as well as wet food stored improperly on the ground.
A formal notice has been issued to the warehouse by the health department as inspections continue across dark stores. The move comes shortly after similar concerns were raised regarding Blinkit facilities, bringing quick-commerce storage practices under intense scrutiny.
