NDA leaders raised slogans and carried placards demanding answers and an apology from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the police lathi-charge on student protesters in Jharkhand, where Congress is part of the ruling coalition. Meanwhile, Opposition alliance MPs demanded a statement from Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the July 20 police action against student protesters at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
Samajwadi Party MPs also protested alleging financial irregularities in Ram Temple funds, with MP Akshay Yadav carrying a donation box and a sugarcane stalk. BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad accused Rahul Gandhi of creating anarchy and avoiding parliamentary debate, asserting that the government is ready for discussion. Additionally, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi was confronted by NDA MPs over Jharkhand, while Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge sidestepped questions regarding the Jharkhand police action.
