Soon after, the family dispute took a horrific turn as Imran took the children away, killed them and then tried to end his own life. Police sources say the message could have been the possible trigger that led to the horrific killing of two young girls aged eight and 10 at a five-star hotel near Bengaluru airport by their father. Imran, a 45-year-old manager at a taxi service company, was found alive on the bathroom floor. Police recovered a note from him in which he spoke about his troubled marriage and claimed that he suspected his wife of having an affair with another man.
He also claimed that he had evidence of the relationship. 11 Years Of Marriage, Divorce And A Custody Battle Sources close to the investigation told News18 that marital discord between the couple was the main reason behind the incident. Imran and his wife had been married for 11 years and had lived at the wife’s house for nearly 10 years. Over the past few months, however, their relationship had deteriorated. The couple had filed for divorce, and the custody of their two daughters had also become a major point of dispute. In the note, Imran said he loved his children and did not want them to stay with their mother and in-laws. He expressed fear that if the children stayed with them or were raised by them, they would eventually become like them.
